The Pierce County ACT for America text book sub-committee is taking on the inaccuracies, half-truths and downright lies that have infiltrated our children's text books due to the influence of wealthy Islamists around the world funding them. Why is their religion being exposed to our kids, yet we cannot pray at school or learn about Christianity?

Teachers are unwittingly using these flawed textbooks and requiring students to participate in activities that are unacceptable in Public School and that violate the establishment clause of "separation of church/mosque and state".

For example:

Ellensburg, an 11th grade public high school class was told to face Mecca and assume the Muslim prayer positions.  Three Catholic girls refused. 

In Lake Stevens, a 7th grade public junior high class spent 7 weeks learning Islam and were required to make the Five Pillars of Islam and Jihad art.

In Monroe, children were taken to a Seattle mosque to learn about "architecture" but were most likely prosyletized as in the Wellsley, Massachusettes Middle School as seen here: video  When a pastor's daughter asked if they would be visiting a church, the teacher curtly said, "No, we can't do that."

In an Everett public school, Muslim children are ushered out by a special assistant to pray during school hours, on school property.  (Just think how the ACLU would be howling if this were done for Christian or Jewish students!)

In a Seattle School, an after school program was told to provide "halal" food because there was ONE Muslim child participating.  When the group bought all vegie Subway sandwiches, the student would not eat it because "she couldn't be sure it was prepared halal" and the non-Muslim children wouldn't eat them because they didn't like them.  All of the sandwiches went into the trash.  (that student should have brought her snack from home!)

CAIR, with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and terror,  sent letters to all 295 public school superintendents asking to come to the school to teach the children about Islam (of course, in the name of education to prevent "bullying"  - as if anti-bullying cannot be taught without prosyletizing to kids in public schools)
